We’ve been busy this week speaking first at an ARLA regional meeting in Hemel Hempstead and then at the Guild of Letting and Management Seminar at the Emirates Stadium. It was a great opportunity to catch up with nearly 200 letting agents and it was clear that feelings are still running high over the recent TDS fee increases with many agents still looking to transfer schemes. More information on this can be found on our website.
We were there to speak about The DPS and ADR and our presentations were well received with lots of good questions. Hopefully, the agents that attended will be better prepared next time they are faced with a dispute.
There was also a lot of interest in our ADR courses that we’ve been running at our Bristol office. Landlords and agents have the opportunity to speak to an adjudicator and take part in practical group exercises. If you’d like to register your interest in taking part in one of our courses, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For more information on the process, or perhaps tips on how to work with your tenants and avoid the process all together, you can download our Essential Guide to Dispute Resolution from our website.
We’re speaking again at the Landlord Expo at UWE in Bristol on Wednesday 28th April, so feel free to come along and say hello.
